Domestic Terrorism: 2 U.S. soldiers shot, 1 killed

24 year-old Carlos Leon Bledsoe, a prison convert to Islam who changed his name to Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, shot 2 American soldiers (in uniform) outside a recruiting station in Little Rock, Ark. One of them died. Isn't that domestic terrorism? just like the killings in Salt Lake City by a Bosnian, Moslim immigrant and other cases. Isn't this domestic terrorism?

The 2 shootings should be a rallying cry for Americans to protest their government's indifference to Saudi money, coming into this country. Money aimed at spreading their particularly hateful Wahabi branch of Islam, in our own country. That is something we could do, that would be highly beneficial.  Freedom of religion or discrimination is NOT an issue. Freedom  of religion cannot excuse an ideology that calls for the annihilation of non believers or their subjugation...and certainly opposes the freedom of religion and separation of church and state demanded by our Constitution. They are as much an enemy to America as were the Soviet Bolsheviks. Aside from that, anything that crosses the border is rightfully subject to the scrutiny and control of the Federal government. Local Tyranny

It isn't just Obama we have to fear. Many state and local governments arrogantly trample on our liberties...and also drive up the cost of living. Down below is a short list. We need a new party...a PRACTICAL & COMMON SENSE libertarian party. Visit http://www.geocities.com/simplynatural@att.net/index.html
and you will find one

1>Repeal penalties (fines) for an adult driving in an automobile without a seat belt.
(what you do or don't do for your own safety is your freedom)

2>Repeal laws (such as Illinois Clinical Laboratory and Blood Bank Act  aka...  210 ILCS 25 / 7-101) that disallow blood, urine, saliva and any other minimally invasive tests from being done without a doctor's prescription.
(what you do with your own body is your own business and shouldn't require a doctor's permission)

3>Require that all businesses must disclose pricing (in non emergency situations) upon consumer request before service or product is rendered and consumer becomes obligated to pay for it or anything else. This must include all medical and dental professionals.
(The practice of demanding a blank check is akin to thievery)

4>Demand the abolition of any late penalties on property tax owed to any unit of government if that unit did not mail the tax bill or late notice to the party that owed the tax.
(A private business would never get away with such outrageous behavior. Certainly government which is suppose to be a servant of the people should not either)

5>Repeal all punitive and discriminatory taxes such as those on tobacco and alcoholic beverages.
(Our nation's founding principle of Equality Before The Law demands that government NOT use taxation to punish a legal behavior that some people dislike)

6>Abolish the requirement that homeowner repair or remodeling comply with building codes designed to insure the safety of the occupant or to enforce standards of building quality. Government may still prohibit repairs or remodeling that diminish the safety of other property holders or violate zoning requirements. Further, the requirement for building permits for repairs or remodeling done by or for homeowners should be abolished. Government may still designate safe building codes (strictly related to the safety of the occupant and NOT standards of building quality favored by local authorities). Subsequently, the practice of fair disclosure for visitors or potential property buyers would require a mandatory display of a Non Conformance Certificate if designated safe building codes were violated.
(What you do in your own house is a BASIC LIBERTY and should not require government's permission or be subject to its coercion.
Besides, it is obvious that government is not so much interested in our safety as in tax revenue. Like highway robbers they look for opportunities to intercept and rob us.)

7>Stop fluoridation of the public water supply
(What you do or don't do for your own health is your freedom and must not be mandated. Fluoridation was originally advocated on the basis of improved dental health. That is not the same as chlorination or other measures of water disinfection which were instituted to prevent deadly diseases. Aside from the issue of freedom, there is now a growing scientific community consensus that fluoride is a toxic compound that provides little or no defense against dental cavities but can discolor children's teeth (dental fluorosis) and does cause an uptake of aluminum into the brain and increased beta-amyloid plaques (the classic marker of Alzheimer's disease) at the concentration levels found in the public water supply (per animal studies). As of June 2008 more than 1700 scientific professionals signed a petition to oppose fluoridation. For all the details please see http://www.fluoridealert.org/prof-statement.pdf    )

The Assault on Liberty Begins (accelerates)

Senator Baucus of Montana (Democrat..)  announced plans for mandatory medical insurance...for adults
I really felt like cussing him out, but contained myself, and sent this letter to him, instead:

"Any medical insurance plan is doomed to failure. The truth is that so many (great majority of) Americans are sickly that no matter how you plan to provide medical insurance, your plan will fail, while further devastating this nation's economy. Do you doubt this or that our health is still declining? "About a third of American children are overweight and one-fifth are obese. Obese children as young as 10 had the arteries of 45-year-olds and other heart abnormalities that greatly raise their risk of heart disease, say doctors who used ultrasound tests to take a peek inside." That's from a study presented to the American Heart Association on Nov. 11, 2008. Why are we so sickly?

It's as simple as the saying: you are what you eat. And what most of us eat is unwholesome, artificial and toxic. To dictate what people eat would trample on their liberty...only slightly worse than your plan for compulsory medical insurance.  But government can lead people away from unhealthy diet choices just as it has done with cigarette smokers who have quit voluntarily. All foods with unnatural ingredients must be conspicuously labeled with "UnNatural". The font size and contrast of that wording would be mandated to be the largest of anything on the wrapper. If the government can scientifically demonstrate that a certain ingredient damages health, it should also mandate a similar "UnHealthy" label. The same mandate should apply to restaurant food/menu items. That's for starters. We also need to take away the legal advantages enjoyed by groups with a vested interest in disease.
Abolish the prescription laws and the FDA (as presently constituted),  end the monopoly health care sought and maintained by the collusion of the legal system, the AMA and the drug industry, end the censorship imposed on the nutritional supplement industry, require the military and public schools to exemplify good nutrition, demand that doctors must make pricing available before patients become obligated to pay (in non-emergency situations), create a federal database on the on the internet, open to all, listing doctors qualifications and any malpractice verdicts made against them...to know more contact me."

How Stupid!

So the Democrats want to do another round of "economic stimulus" and other give aways. They didn't learn the first time...it doesn't work.
All we will get for the effort is more debt saddled on the taxpayers...the ones the Democrats won't exempt from paying taxes. The root cause  * of our economic crisis is loss of good jobs....all the jobs that went to Asia thanks to the free trade fallacy. We need action to reverse the rise in the dollar....our exports which were just starting to benefit from a lower dollar will now plumet to new lows. ...see my website
http://www.geocities.com/simplynatural@att.net/SOLUTIONS1.html
and look at trade. If the Democrats so want to add to our debt, while creating some temporary jobs, let's at least get something real for our money....rebuilt hiways, bridges, etc.

* A strong second root cause was Liberal government demands to banks to lend to the "underpriviledged" when they were clearly unqualified. Unbelievably there are still demands by Liberals to rescue these people...even McCain climbed on board that ship...certainly no conservative....indeed if he had voted against the bailout bill...he might be President elect !

We Shall Rise Again

You know there is a silver lining to every cloud and if we are smart there will also be one to this Obama debacle. Let's examine how this happened and then we will know what to do. Young people were some of Obama's most enthusiastic supporters...and it is the young who are often more willing to do the physical work of campaigning. And of course the obvious, the young eventually replace the oldsters as mortality sets in.  Conservatives/libertarians have got to do better there. And we have a natural advantage. We generally believe in marriage and family. The liberals are more often beset by non productive relationships (no children). So just like the moslims...who have displaced some native populations by virtue of their higher birthrate...we can eventually overpower the liberals.  But we must do  a lot more than that,  if we  are  to retain the  allegiance of  our youngsters.  We must home school  whenever possible  or at least personally provide our youngsters with some American  history lessons that focus on Liberty (as opposed to the false notion of government imposed equality) and make them attach the highest value to it. If we don't home school then we must scrutinize daily what they learn in school and be ready to counter it. We should try to put a safe limit on their exposure to a debased culture and those that revel in it. Better yet, spend the most possible time with your children. Children will most try to win the respect of those they spend the most time with. If you want to pass on your values to your children (otherwise why have children?) you will try to spend the maximum time with them. Like Dennis Pragor once said....in former times we could depend upon good societal values to help form children's values even  when  parents were  neglectful  or  not attentive.  We can't do that anymore....especially now when the liberal huns will become even more dominant.  And be sure to join in honoring our veterans on patriotic holidays by visiting cemeteries or attending parades. All that from the earliest age...once the pattern is set in early childhood it becomes very difficult to change later.

The Republican party is most to blame for the Obama debacle. Their stupidity, corruption have repeatedly advanced Obama's career. The first advance was when Jack Ryan the Republican candidate for US senate in 2004 dropped out because of an alleged sex scandal....gee, how many Republicans have been caught in that trap! The Republicans replaced Ryan with a  carpetbagger from Maryland....Alan Keyes....a black conservative with excessive focus on abortion. So the 2004 ILLINOIS senate election was between two black men. You don't have to be racist, only a realist to understand that the Republican party shot itself in the foot with that selection. Then we have George Bush (the moron) whose incompetence in fighting the Iraq war, allowing more debt spending than any other President? (never vetoed a bill during Republican control of Congress), free traded us into a deindustrialized pauper country....has beset our country with the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression and consequently propelled Barick Obama into the White house.

Let us also remember that George Bush became the Republican Presidential nominee in 2000 much thru the power of the religious right. Allowing the Republican party to fall under the control of the religious right has not been beneficial. The nation is better for its religious citizens...their strong family values, ethics make for stronger families...and a nation can't be strong without those...children born out of wedlock are more prone to do drugs, crime and be a burden on society. But when the religious try to impose their lifestyle on others thru the coercive power of government, they deny our political heritage...liberty and separation of church and state. Aside from that, their obsession with abortion has taken the focus off other issues. Too often, those supported by the religious right are not true conservatives....only conservative with respect to abortion, opposition to the homosexual agenda and stem cell research. George Bush was a case in point and Mike Huckabee was probably another....big spenders and soft on illegal aliens....also their love of foreign aid.......George Bush spent or committed billions to AIDS  relief/prevention in Africa, ditto for would be President McCain and his dogooder wife (only they wanted to fight malaria) . Remember we don't have a balanced budget, they would be content to do this by adding to our debt ....and that Africa is generally a basket case, rife with corruption and  promiscuity (isn't that why they are so plagued with AIDS)....and not a worthy recipient.

Aside from McCain and Huckabee who did we have to choose from. Who was a true conservative/libertarian?  Romney, the ex-governor of Massachusetts Republican who signed into state law, compulsory medical insurance...not by a far stretch. And certainly not ex-mayor of NYC, Rudy Giuliani.  We also had for limited periods of time Tancredo, Hunter, Brownback, Fred Thompson, Ron Paul and of course McCain. Ron Paul is a libertarian, but adheres to the impractical branch of that philosophy....(
unrestricted immigration (except for terrorists and criminals), no Anti-Trust laws, no marriage licensing and indifference to threats like Iran). Stances like that made him a nonstarter. Fred Thompson was a reluctant candidate who didn't possess the energy to run for office. Tancredo, Hunter, Brownback are true conservatives but were burdened by their obsession with abortion and a hostile press media. Let's face it,  the majority of Americans are opposed to the extreme position on right to life issues these men support. To deny a woman any chance at abortion, at any point in her pregnancy under any conditions, does trample on her liberty. To say the full rights to human life begins at the point of conception is an article of religious faith, not consistent with common sense. On the other hand the majority does support bans on late term abortions under certain conditions. We need a moderate position on this issue to be winners and which simultaneously does not trample on liberty or ignore uncaring cruelty. I said hostile (biased) press media. All three men were subjected to the question: "Is there anybody on the stage who does not believe in evolution?"    at an early debate. Obviously an immaterial question designed to belittle these men. Meanwhile the national press repeatedly failed to investigate or ask Obama:  the extent of all his radical associations, was he truly born in Hawaii or ...  Kenya? ,  what can be inferred from his use of cocaine and marijuana as a younger man. So we got stuck with McCain...the liberal at heart (as he even misspoke?),  the Senator wedded to the fallacy of free trade and a gentle response to illegal immigration.....positions that doomed enthusiastic support from conservative voters and consequently loss of the election. So the Republicans failed us and doomed our nation to learn by suffering .  Yes, people often have to learn by suffering the consequences of their erroneous ideas. The same is true of nations.  Yes we shall suffer the loss of liberty and further economic deterioration under Obama, the socialist. But if there is one truth, it is that TRUTH EVENTUALLY PREVAILS. That day will be hastened if Republican survivors and lovers of liberty, nationalism and common sense can rally around a new party....for the Republican party is a broken party controlled by an out of touch elite wedded to the free trade fallacy. If you have a truly worthy and conservative representative in Congress or elsewhere, ask him/her to consider leaving the Republican party and forming a new party of believers in liberty, nationalism and common sense. See www.geocities.com/simplynatural@att.net for what could be the beginnings of such a party.

Obama on Health Freedom....NOT!

McCain could have appealed and won over a constituency whose zeal has rivaled the gun lobby, sometimes. Down below is an email response from my senator..Obama..which could have been used against him to win over that constituency... all the people who religiously take vitamin supplements and health food. First is my email to Senator Obama followed by his response in quotes:
to Durbin, and Obama
I want you to oppose action by the FDA as proposed in their Docket: 2006D-0480 - Draft Guidance for Industry on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Products and Their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration...they even want to regulate vegetable juice! Government is suppose to protect liberty, not trample on it. The only role of the FDA should be to require fair disclosure and search for/punish fraud...not to ban products or make them unavailable.  I do NOT want the government telling me what I can put in my own body. Since the FDA seems determined to extend its coercive powers to dietary supplements (and health foods!) and is heavily suspected of corruption; I prefer that the FDA be abolished and that its legitimate roles be handed to some other agency. Many of us understand that the poor health of many (most) Americans decreases our world competitiveness and will eventually bankrupt us. Unfortunately, all we hear from politicians, the medical establishment and the mainstream media are increased spending on medical care..more health insurance and >> richer doctors, health insurance companies ,drug companies. The real answer is the food we eat. If we weren't the junk food capital of the world, we wouldn't be in this situation. Government can't legislate the foods we eat...but it can insist on fair disclosure, search out and eliminate fraud (and there's lots of that in advertising). It can also restore health freedom (repeal the prescription laws and censorship imposed on dietary supplements) so that we aren't at the mercy of greedy doctors...then see what happens to climbing medical costs!
Senator Obama's response:
"Thank you for contacting me regarding the impact of the FDA Docket 2006D-0480 on complementary and alternative medicine products. I appreciate hearing from you.

Theodore, I share your distaste for unnecessary federal regulation. However, I am not a scientist and expert in food safety, and therefore must defer to the experts at the FDA who only want to ensure safety of these products. While I understand your concern with protecting access to alternative medicine products, such as dietary supplements, this FDA Docket should not unduly hinder such access and, indeed, is intended to provide consumer protection. It seems to me that we would be doing a disservice to the public at large by not examining all possible risks and adverse health consequences associated with the use of these products and practices. I do not see this as an attack on access to these things, and I hope that some of your concerns have been assuaged.

I will continue to work with my colleagues to take timely action on legislation, and you may be certain your priorities and concerns are on my mind. Again, Theodore, thank you for writing. Please stay in touch in the days to come.

Sincerely,

Barack Obama
United States Senator"

The bottom line here is that Obama does not believe in liberty...government should decide for you what you are allowed to eat, and that he defers to the incompetent FDA bureaucrats who have repeatedly been suspected of corruption. That is NOT leadership or good judgment.
